Margaret was born on 17 Nov 1796 in Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.

She married Donald McLachlen in 1817 Caledonia, Livingston, New York.

She died on 9 Mar 1878 in Watford, Lambton, Ontario. She was buried in Aylmer Cemetery.[1]
