Stewart-51490 and Stewart-18906 appear to represent the same person because: I have been trying for a couple of years to get this merge or the situation corrected. I have taken steps to do so and would hope that it can now be accomplished. Mr. Donavan and I are cousin and have worked together on these lines many years ago. Therefore I hope we can get Lucy situated with her proper father. It has been incorrect to long and has caused others to perpetuate the incorrect information. Thank you.
I can see that there appears to be no real interest in correcting errors on this site. I posted the Will's of the correct James Stewart(d) and his brother Joseph, as I was ask to do and nothing is corrected. This type of malfeasance is why there are so many errors in online sites.

If there is documentation to support the 1st Lucy did not marry Amos, then you can establish the profile of a 2nd Lucy and attach Amos and any credited children. It is presumed there will be documentation for this 2nd Lucy's marriage.
After shifting the Hughes family to the 2nd Lucy, detach Amos and any children from the 1st Lucy
IS there a documentation for this Lucy (Stewart) Hughes being the daughter of James Stewart-23690 ? Is there a will where the names the daughter specifically? Or a death record for Lucy that specifies the father? A document for dowry for Lucy from her father? A bible entry?
Yes, I have 2 Wills... 1 from the father James and 1 from his brother Joseph who had no children and left everything to James and his children. Before someone says about the last name being STEWARD instead STEWART... both spelling were used interchangeably at the time. Give me an email address and I will send the WIlls if you so desire.
This Lucy Stewart IS NOT the daughter of this James Stewart. The correct James Stewart for the father is STEWART-23690 and his daughter is listed as his daughter Lucy is listed as STEWART-18906
Therefore, this Lucy should be deleted (STEWART-51490) as well as shown husband Aaron Hughes (HUGHES-28490) and son Amos Hughes (HUGHES-28461).
