DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
I have a copy of George Henry's Last Will and Testament where he mentions John Steward as his daughter's, Elizabeth, husband. I don't have dates of birth or death of John Steward. The will is dated 21 Nov 1782. The will also lists Elizabeth's brother George and William and their wives first name - both Margaret.
My family records state that George Henry was married to Margaret Young.
Hi Elisabeth, As you do not show exactly what Sources you are using are you sure that this Daniel Stewart is the one in your family line? There is another Daniel Stewart in Pennsylvania at this time, married to a Mary Morris also with a son Issac.
My family records state that George Henry was married to Margaret Young.
