Isabella was born about 1461. Isabella Stewart ... [1]
Sir Walter Buchanan, 13th Laird of Buchanan, married Isobel Stewart, daughter to Murdoch Stewart, duke of Albany, and governor of Scotland, and to Isobel, heiress of Lennox his lady. This marriage is further made appear by a charter in the hands of Buchanan of Drumikill, granted by Isobel duchess of Albany, and countess of Lennox, to one Donald Patrick, of a tenement of houses and land next adjacent to the north side of the church-yard of Drymen, dated in the year 1443, witnesses being Andrew and Murdoch, the duchess's nephews, and Walter, laird of Buchanan, her son in law, knight, with divers others.[2]

Roots web posting casts doubt on Isabella's mother (and yet, the name!)...
"Andrew B. MacEwen, an authority on these Buchanans confirmed Auchmar's statement that Patrick Buchanan, 14th Laird of
Buchanan, was a son of Isabella Stewart, daughter of Murdach Stewart,
2nd Duke of Albany, as you posted. He acknowledged Smith's skepticism
about the relationship; and suggested that Smith's confusion stemmed
from the absence of a Buchanan inheritance in the Lennox estate. Then
Andrew explained that the 14th Laird of Buchanan did not inherit from
the Lennox estate, because the laird's mother, Isabella Stewart, was a
daughter of Murdach's first wife, Joanna Douglas, rather than
Murdach's second wife, Isabella, Countess of Lennox."
Stewart-1635 and Stewart-10150 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same spouse, same child, same location, birthdate, her father and brothers died in 1425, for sure. She was the oldest child of Murdoch's 2nd marriage, they married in 1391/92.
