Biography
Margaret Ann Elizabeth Stewart (who may have also gone by Mary) was born in about 1832. She may have been the daughter of a John Stewart (or Steward) and Jane McGee. Margaret married Charles Jasper Walker Murphree. In 1860 they are recorded on the federal census in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. [1]
