Sir Robert (Stewart) Stewart of Durisdeer was killed in Action during the Percy Rebellion at the Battle of Shrewsburyl.

Robert Stewart was born about 1352 in Durisdeer, Scotland. He was the second son of Robert Stewart[1][2][3] and Catherine MacDougal.

In 1388 he accompanied the "Black Douglas" to Ireland in search of plunder.

In 1401 he was captured at the battle of Hamildon Hill.

He was succeeded to the Lordship of Durrisdeer by his eldest son David on the occasion of his death at the Battle of Shrewsbury on 21 July 1403.[4]
