Biography

Henry was born in 1832. He was the son of William Stewart and Martha VanSickle. In 1862, he married Deborah McDaniel.[1] Among their children are:

  • Van Robert, m Myrtle Casto, dau. of Washington Casto[2];
  • William
  • Viola, b. 25 Dec 1869; d. 17 Jun 1959[3]
  • Alvaretta
  • John McDaniel, d. 27 Apr 1937[4]
  • Egbert, died in infancy
  • Clyde W
  • Maude
  • Julia F

About 1865, Henry, Deborah, and their son Van moved to Cuivre Township in Pike County, Missouri.[5] The family returned to Mason County about 1890.
