Jonathan was born in 1706/7, the son of Benjamin and Mary Stickney. (Note - changed birth date to 1707 since March 1706 is too close to younger sibling Joseph).
Johnathan received of his parents a Deed of Gift (land) about 1729. His marriage banns were published there in Rowley on 13 Jan 1730 or 1731 and he and Mary Fisk were probably married shortly thereafter.
Mary and Jonathan had six children.
They received land totaling 14-1/2 acres of upland and meadow ground from her father Samuel Fisk's estate in 1731 and 1732.
Jonathan Stickney erected a house at the foot of Long Hill in Rowley prior to 1733.
He died at the age of 36 and administration of his estate was granted to his widow and Deacon Willliam Fisk (Mary's brother) of Rowley on 4 Jan 1741.
After Jonathan's death, guardianship of the minor children went to Mary except for the oldest son. Mary's brother, William, was granted guardianship of their ten year old son, William.
