Biography

Susan Stigler was born on July 22, 1814^[1], in Chester, South Carolina, the child of William Stigler and Catherine Abel. She married Elihu M. Hembree^[2] on Sep. 22, 1833, in South Carolina. She died on January 15, 1894, in Georgia at the age of 74, and was buried in Roswell, Fulton, Georgia^[3].
