Martin was born to Isaac and Mary Brooks Stiles at Westfield, Massachusetts on July 17, 1728.[1] He married Dorcas Adams there in 1752[2] and they had at least two children who were born at Westfield.[3] Martin died in Westfield at age 80.[4]
