Biography
George was born on April 2, 1843 in New Brunswick. He was a son of Robert Stiles and Charity (Morton) Stiles of Albert County.
He married (1) Amanda Jane Stevens on October 4, 1869 in Hopewell. She was a daughter of Harding Stevens and Mary (Stiles) Stevens.[1]
Amanda passed away in 1879.
He married (2) Agalia Morton at Petitcodiac on November 23, 1881. She was the eldest daughter of Michael Morton of Cardwell, Kings County.[2] [2]
George had several children by each of his wives and ran a farm in Mapleton, Elgin Parish, Albert County.
He passed away in 1916 and was interred at the Old Elgin Cemetery.[3]
