- Note: SFA has birth as Stoddard, New Hampshire (via record of 3rd marriage). The IGI lists birth as Milford Twp, Hillsboro, New Hampshire giving the resource as town records. The IGI record seems more plausible looking at a map of New Hampshire since his father, David Stiles, was born in Hollis New Hampshire - very close to the Massachusetts border. Milford is just north of Hollis, while Stoddard is much further north.
