Research Notes

A duplicate profile contained this sentence, "Most sources state that she set out from London in April 1635 on board the Increase, but that she died and was buried at sea."[citation needed] Unclear what is the evidence for her death at sea. Anderson, Seymour, and Drake all make no mention of any such death during the family's voyage in 1635.[1][3][4]

Stillwell-298 and Unknown-278036 appear to represent the same person because: This is a Puritan Great Migration profile. The maiden name of Rebecca is unknown, according to Anderson (and the Find a Grave memorial has now been edited to show this).

Stillwell-298 and Stilwell-493 appear to represent the same person because: This appears to be a duplicate as well as John.

I removed Rebecca as daughter of Nicholas Stillwell Jr. as he was born in 1603 and Rebecca was born in 1595. She could possibly be his brother, but I have no evidence to support this.
