Cyrus and wife were members of Morning Star Lutheran Church of Mecklenburg CO. and Mary must have died before 1846 as he married 2nd, Mary Conder, 9 Feb 1846. He had 3 children with Mary Martin and 4 children with Mary Conder. Both wives are said to have been buried next to him in the Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, His will was filed 25 Mar 1894.
