25 Sep 1952 The Gulgong District News reports on the Death of Mrs Mary Walker:
DEATH MRS. MARY WALKER The death occurred quite recently of Mrs. Mary Walker, of Mudgee road, Gulgong, aged 75 years. Deceased, who was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Stinson of Wyong Creek, was born in that district and was married to the late Mr. William Walker, of Camboon, Rylstone, in Sydney in 1907. The late Mrs. Walker, who was highly respected, resided in Gulgong for many years. She is survived by a family of three, namely: Mrs. E. Doorey (Lithgow), Miss Edna Harriett Walker (Gulgong) and Mr. Norman Keith Walker (Gulgong). A brother, Mr. Walter Stinson, resides at Greenwich and two sisters, Mesdames C. (Maud) Ward and Mrs. G. (Jane) Hill at Mayfield and Wyong respectively. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in the Church of England portion of the Gulgong Cemetery, Rev. S. Carr officiating. Messrs. Eastaugh and Carroll, of Mudgee and Gulgong, conducted the arrangements. Our sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones. (4)
