Biography
Thomas was born about 1836 in Ireland. [1]Thomas Stinson immigrated to Upper Canada before 1855 and settled in Durham County. He was married 8 Nov 1855, Cavan Township, Durham County, Ontario [2]. He had 5 sons, and one daughter, all born in Durham County, where he farmed; operated a clothing store; worked as a mechanic.[3] In 1891, he is a widower living with son John and his family in Desboro, Sullivan Township, Grey County, Ontario, Canada.[4] He passed away sometime after 1891, whereabouts unknown.
