Belonged to the Fish Creek Presbyterian church. All his children were baptized there. “This day Andrew Stinson late of the Covenanting Church and a residenter in the bounds of this congregation for somtime past produced certificates and his desire to be a member of this church. He was from Clogh, Ireland, 1771, and when in Ireland he was a single man. Andrew Stinston came to Fish Creek from Pennsylvania and he lived around Fish Creek for 7 years.” (Early Records of Fish Creek Presbyterian Church 1999-1854)
All the children were baptized there on 15 June, 1800.
He bought land from William Barrow in 1789.
