Margaret passed away 11 Oct 1917 (aged 66–67) at her son-in-law residence at Cowra - cause of death - senile-decay
On Thursday morning there passed away at her daughter's residence(Mrs. Jas. Cummins) Liverpool-st., Mrs. Margaret Ward, at the age of 70 years. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. W. Stinson, of Wellington, in which town she resided for a number of years prior to coming to Cowra. She leaves a grownup family of four sons and two daughters,the former being Messrs William (Wellington), John (Sydney), Norman, (on active service), and Jas. the daughters are Mesdames J. Cummins (Cowra) and T. Burrell (Daceyville). Mrs. G. C. Reynolds, of this town, was also a relative. The funeraltook place yesterday to the Roman Catholic cemetery, Rev. Fr. Howard performing the last sad rites. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. W. J. Simeon.
