Stonard-4 and Stonard-12 are not ready to be merged because: It looks to me as if these are two different people who have been concatenated by wishful thinking
Stannard-49 and Stonard-12 are not ready to be merged because: Jacobus (the American Genealogist v27 p 165) shows Joseph's spouse, Elizabeth, as a child (b 1646 m. Joseph Stannard of Saybrook) of Gerard Spencer, Ens. She is listed after Sarah and before Thomas. Anderson, (the Great Migration V6 pp 426-428), doesn't show Elizabeth as a daughter of Gerard. We should resolve Elizabeth's relationship to the Spencer family tree before we finalize this merger. It looks probable that the two Josephs (Stonard/Stannard) are the same. but we should also disambiguate the spelling of the last name.
Stannard-49 and Stonard-12 appear to represent the same person because: married to same person, have same name. Can spelling dif. be resolved with adding 'Stannard' to "other last names"?
