Caroline is listed as a widow in the 1900 Federal Census in Coryell Co., Texas. Caroline is listed as being the mother of five (5) children with four (4) children living. The only child living in the household in 1900 is: Kattie M. Battle, age 10.[4]
Caroline died in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, on the 30th of September 1942, and is buried at the Blevins Cemetery, Blevins, Texas.[5]
