Note on Death: Status Date: 30 May 2018: Current death date proves to be confounding. A careful record examination proves it is for a 14 day old child that 'died' from 'marasmus,' which is a form of severe child malnurition. In current language, it is called 'failure to thrive.' It is clear that the current death date may be erroneous, or perhaps even coincidental.
Note to Cousins: Status Date: 30 May 2018: I am not sure of anyone beyond John Spencer Stone. I have come across Benjamin Stone time and again, but I am not absolutely sure he is John Spencer's father. If anyone has any further info, please contact the Profile Manager.
18 Jul 2018: The most recent search came up with possible parental alternatives on Ancestry.com: Thomas Stone (1721– ) and Mary Nancy Butler (1727– ); However, it is clear that there is another generation prior to that of John Spencer Stone. More work still needs to be done.
