Biography

Leticia “Letty” Stone was born abt. 1756. Her parents were Richard Stone Sr. and Mary Wynne. She married Peter Winn in 1776. He was born 18 Mar 1754 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. His parents were John Winn and Ann Stone. Letty and Peter had 9 children.

Letty and Peter died in Luneburg, Virginia. Letty died 9 Feb 1806 and Peter died 2 years later, on 30 Mar 1808.

Leticia’s son, Richard Winn, married his first cousin, Mary Polly Stone, daughter of Leticia’s brother, Richard Stone. The son of Mary Polly Stone and Richard Winn was Ransom Stone Winn. Ransom’s son was Joseph Winn. Joseph’s daughter, Margaret M. Winn married Andrew Jackson Tennison Jr.
