Biography

Samuel Stone was born to Robert and Sarah Stone January 23, 1657 at Salem, Massachusetts. He died Jan 6, 1723-4.^[1] This reference shows his birth as "23: 11th mo: 1657", which is actually Jan 23, 1657-8.^[2]

Samuel married Mary Treadwell Jan 28, 1674-5 at Salem, Massachusetts.^[3] They had 12 children.^[1]

His brother Benjamin Stone, mariner wrote his will in December, 1697, proved December 2, 1703, naming his mother Sarah as sole executrix. He left a bequest of land to his aunt Katherine King. After his mother's death, his estate was to be divided among his nieces and nephews, including: ^[4]
