Biography

I started doing genealogy in 2006, and have become increasingly interested in using DNA testing to supplement traditional research methods. Besides my contributions here, I also maintain a family history website (http://www.danstone.info) and an Ancestry member tree (http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/35241655/recent) which include additional information.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Dan or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
  • Dan Stone: Family Tree DNA Y-DNA Test 37 markers, haplogroup R-P310, FTDNA kit #267196
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Dan:

Have you taken a DNA test? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

Thank you for getting back to me. I looked through the branches and didn't quite find an answer yet.

We'll figure it out eventually.

Cheers!

I have been doing genealogy off and on since 2006. I'm looking forward both to contributing here and to discovering new information. Besides the contributions I make here, I also maintain a family history website (http://www.danstone.info).
