Emma Sue Stone was born on April 26, 1911 in Putnam County, Tennessee, United States, daughter of Lorenza Thurston Stone (1889–1956) and Alta Leftwich (1892–1961).[1]
Emma married Joseph Potter Greenwood.
In 1940 Emma and Joe were living with her parents Lorenza and Alta Stone.
