Biography

Mary Stone was born about 1733 and baptized at Lexington on Mar. 17, 1734/5[1], daughter of Gregory and Mary (Converse) Stone. [2] [3] [4]

She married at Aaron Brooks at Concord on Jan. 2, 1755.[5] [4] Aaron Brooks was born in Concord on Aug. 24, 1727 [5], son of Thomas and Hannah (Dakin) Brooks. [2]

Aaron died Feb. 23, 1811, at Lincoln, aged 83 years. [6] [4] [2] He is buried in the Town Hill Cemetery at Lincoln. [7] [8]

Mary died Feb. 8, 1813, aged 80 years,[6] [2] and is buried at the Lincoln Town Cemetery as well. Her inscription reads: In memory of Mrs. MARY BROOKS, wife of Mr. Aaron Brooks, who died Feb. 8, 1813. Æt. 81. [9] [10]
