Biography
Joel Stone the son of Elias StoneHester Britt was born about 1842 in Robeson, North Carolina. He was about 42 years old when he married Harriet Britt on 15 January 1884 in Robeson, North Carolina.[1]
In 1860 Joel, 18 was living in the household of his parents Elias StoneHester Britt and eight siblings in Robeson, North Carolina, United States. [2]
By 1880 Joel had married Isla Stone (No marriage record found). Joel and Isla were living in Thompson Township, Robeson, North Carolina, United States with their three children; the eldest being 12 they most likely married about 1867 [3]
His wife, Isla, most likely died between 1800 and 1803. On 15 Jan 1884, Joel marries a second time to Harriet Britt in Robeson, North Carolina. [4]
By 1900, Joel, 58 and Harriet Stone, 48 were living in Thompson Township, Robeson, North Carolina, United States. They had been married for fifteen years and had five living children. [5]
