Adeline was the daughter of James Stone and Elizabeth Pinion Stone per Texas County Missouri Heritage book. [Texas County Missouri Heritage, Vol. II. Submitted by Shirley Wenger. Texas County Missouri Genealogical & Historical Society, 1989. Page 614.]

In the 1880 Texas Co. Missouri census, she is listed as born in Georgia with son, John born in Georgia and son, Cager born in Alabama.

Marriage (Confident)

Adeline's marriage to David Miller is recorded in Hall Co. Georgia and the names of their children can be found on the 1860 and 1870 Winston Co. Alabama census. Per the Texas County Missouri Heritage book, David went to the fields to work one day and never returned. As this was during the civil war, he may have been forcibly inducted into service or killed by bushwhackers. After David's death, Adaline brought her family by covered wagon, along with the Herndon's, from Winston County, Alabama to Texas County, Missouri in 1870.

She married secondly, John Sigler, 15 Feb 1874 in Texas Co., Missouri per the Texas County Missouri Heritage book but he is deceased by the 1880 census where she is listed as Martha Miller.

Death (Confident)

Adeline's death is listed as 15 Oct 1887 in Missouri Death Records, 1834-1910. She is buried in Ozark Cemetery, Texas Co. Missouri.
