Elizabeth Stowe was born on 1 Aug 1662 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut^{[1] [2]}.

She was the daughter of Samuel Stow and Hope Fletcher.

She married Maybee Barnes, the son of Thomas and Mary Barnes, on 19 Nov 1691 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut^[3][4].
