Asberry Stone was born about 1805, probably in Anderson County, South Carolina.[1] He is said to be the son of William Stone and Mary Randall. He passed away about 1843 in Anderson County, South Carolina and is buried in Barkers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path, Anderson County.[2]
Asberry married Asenith Massey about 1830 in Anderson County, South Carolina.[3] In 1850 Asenith Stone is apparently a widow living with her children Elizabeth (age 17), Louisa (age 15), Laban (age 13), Stephen (age 9), and Asberry H (age 7).[4]
