Biography
Mary Stone was born in Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts on October 17, 1793 She was the daughter of Levi Stone and Lydia Ward Stone. [1]
Mary was married to Joel Cornelius Houghton in Groton November 10, 1818. Joel was the son of Cornelius Houghton and Abigail Garfield Houghton. [2]
Mary died in Littleton, Middlesex County, September 7, 1872 at the home of her son, Charles - 38 years after the death of her husband.[3] [4]
