Daniel Stone was born 29 AUG 1711 in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut to William Stone and Sarah Hatch.[1][2]

He married 7 Sep 1731 in Guilford to Leah Norton.[3][4][5] Leah Norton was born 3 Apr 1715 in Guilford, Connecticut to Thomas Norton (1676-1740) and Rachel Starr (1681-1755) (Roberts states the 15th and Guilford vital records states the 3rd "Leah d. Thomas & Rachel, b. Apr 3, 1713" Guilford births Vol 2 p 36.[3][6] [4] [5] Children recorded in Guilford:

  • Thankful (1732-1786)[6] - married Solomon Stone[7]
  • Diademia (1735-1737)[6] - died young
  • Daniel, Jr. (1737-1777)[6] - married Sarah King[7]
  • Benjamin (1745-1812)[6] - married Mary Ann Watrous[7]
  • Leah (1752-1830)[6] - married Henry Hill[7]
  • Medad (1754-1815)[6] married Mary Griffing[7]

She died on 17 Jan 1783 in Guilford.[3][4][5] Daniel Stone died 23 Dev 1782 in Guilford.[3][4][5] They are both buried in Alderbrook Cemetery in Guilford.[8][9][10]
