Malinda was born in April 1805 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of John Stone and Joanna Sutton. She passed away in December 1890 in Scott County, Kentucky.
Malinda's husband William Hall served in the war of 1812 from 20 may 1813 to 19 November 1813. He passed away on 19 May 1859 in Big Eagle, Scott County, Kentucky.[1]
In 1850 William and Malinda were living in Scott County, Kentucky. In their household are children Buford Hall (23), Letha J. Hall (18), William Hall (10); Dorcas Hall (59), possibly sister or sister-in-law of William; Joanna Stone (13), relationship unknown possibly a niece.[2]
In 1880 Malinda was living in Big Eagle, Scott County, Kentucky. She was age 75, widowed. In her household are William Hall, age 39, her son; Sarah Holland, age 65, her sister; and George A Spence, age 14.[3]
