Some sources claim that this Isaac Stone is the same as the one who married Nancy Anne Weedon and that Nancy Anne Weedon was the mother of Henry Clay Stone. This seems unlikely as the 1850 census show this Isaac Stone with a possible wife named Mary S. The Isaac Stone and his wife Nancy Anne Weedon can be found in both the 1850 and 1860 census still residing in Fauquier County, Virginia. Also the William and Mary College Quarterly (1935, Vol. 15, No. 2, p. 190) state that Nancy Anne Weedon, wife of Isaac Stone, died without issue.[1]
