Birth and Parents

Abigail (Stone) Rayner was born in Massachusetts.

Abigail, the daughter of Jacob Stone (1721-1746) and Jemima Miller (1726-1806) was born on 23 November 1746 at Charlestown, Massachusetts.[1]

Marriage and Children

Abigail married Thomas Rayner (1740-1804), the son of John and Ann (Rand) Rayner on 10 November 1763 at Charlestown, Massachusetts.[2] They had nine children:

  1. John Rayner (b. 8 Mar 1764; d. 5 Jul 1765, Charlestown, MA)[3][4]
  2. Abigail Rayner (b. 3 Jun 1765; d. 1817)[5] m. 8 May 1788 at Reading, MA, James Emerson (1759-1839)
  3. John Rayner (b. 9 Sep 1766; d. )[6] m. 6 Jul 1789 at Reading, MA, Mary Eaton (1774-1841)

Death

Abigail (Stone) Rayner died on 27 February 1792 in her 45th year at Wakefield, Massachusetts.[10]She is buried in Old Burying Ground at Wakefield, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[11]
