An unsourced Findagrave entry records that Abraham was born in 1745, Coventryville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, the son of John Stoner and his wife Catherine (Brenneman) Stoner. He is reported to have lived along the Red Run, near the point where that stream feeds the East Branch of the Antietam creek, at the former Fairview, or Cress, station, and to have served as Pvt., 1st Bat., 1st Cumberland Co., Militia under Capt. Daniel Clapsaddle, Revolutionary War. [1]
Marriage
Abraham married Mary (Miller) Stoner (1749 - 1800), the daughter of Hans Michael Miller. They were the parents of :

An unsourced Findagrave record gives that Abraham died 25 Sep 1824 (aged 78–79) in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and was buried at Stoner Cemetery Franklin County, Pennsylvania. [1] He had certainly died before April 1826, when two properties belonging to Abraham Stoner (late of Franklin County, PA) located in Woodberry Township, Huntingdon County, were put up by the Orphans Court of Huntingdon County for valuation and sale. These comprised a 340 acre property on Piney Creek, adjoining lands of Jacob Duck, Springfield Furnace, John Cromer and Christian Hunt, and a 159 acre tract adjoining lands of Springfield Furnace, Hoovers and John Patton. [2]
