Biography
Leland was born on 26 April 1898 to Charles Stoner and Carrie Stoner nee Pittman.
The June 1900 census[1], of which Leland's father Charles Stoner was the enumerator, shows Leland residing with his family in Trail Creek Township, Harrison County, Missouri, United States of America.
The April 1910 census[2]shows Leland residing with his family in Grant Township, Harrison County.
The January 1920 census[3][4]shows Leland residing with his family in Corn Beet, Sherman Township, Harrison County.
Leland, a Druggist, married[5]Zerita Stoner on 10 August 1925 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, United States of America. At te time of the ceremony both were residing in Ridgeway, Harrison County.
The April 1930 census[6][7]shows Leland residing with his family in Grant Township.
The April 1940 census[8]shows Leland continuing to reside with his family in Grant Township.
Leland, late of Ridgeway, passed away aged eighty three[9]on 27 March 1982 at a Bethany Nursing Home. Leland was laid to rest[10]in Henry Cemetery, Ridgeway.
Research Notes
To Mr. and Mrs. Stoner have been born two children, Charm and Amber. Charm Stoner married Miss Myrle Butler, a daughter of Fox Butler of Harrison County. She died March 25, 1921, leaving two children, Keith and Lavonia.
