Biography

This profile is part of the Chebacco Parish, Massachusetts One Place Study.

Lucy Story was baptized on 22 May 1743, at the Chebacco Parish Church in Ipswich in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. She was the daughter of Seth Story and Martha Low.[1]

Lucy married Gifford Goldsmith on 25 Apr 1769, at Ipswich.[2]

Three children were recorded as born to Lucy and Gifford Goldsmith:

Lucy died "of dropsy" after the birth of her third child, on 19 Jan 1779, at Ipswich. Her age was estimated at 36 years.[3]
