Zachariah Story Last Will and Testament In the name of God amen and in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundres thirty & two I Zachariah Story being sick of body yett perfect of Memory blessed be God for it do hereby make and ordanin this my last will & testament. Hoping after my death to receive forgiveness of my sins through Jesus Christ. First I commit my soul to God who gave it to me & my body to be interred in a decent manner according to the discresion of my executors, heare after mentioned. I leave & bequest unto my son Zachiria Story all tract of land on James Island which was my grandfathers & now in my posession forty & four acres be it more or less then all rights & properties therewith belonging lying on Perotown Creek as is specified by a plot of the same_____ _____________. I leave & bequest to my daughter Elizabeth Story all the tract of land ______ is run or to be run out for me in Granville County containing 372 acres with all rights and properties thereunto belonging___________ ____. I leave to my beloved wife Mary on third part of all my personal estate after all my debts & rents & funeral charges are paid & the other two thirds to be equally divided between my son and daughter above named & the benefits arising from my slaves & substance is to be employed for the maintaninance fo my wife & children's schooling and clothing of them during my wifes widowhood & at her marriage the same to divided as above mentioned in three equall shares, one third to my wife, one third to my son, one third to my daughter. Lastly I do hereby ordain Benjamin Stylls, Zebulon Guy and my beloved wife Mary & Jeremiah Story to be my Exectors, to manage all & everthing for the life of my wife & children & I do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament. As witness my hand & seal this the 14th day of February 1732.
