[1] He married Amerantia/Amarens Christianse in 1693 in New York, New York. [2][3]

They were the parents of:[4]

  1. John m Abigail Bill June 14 1714.
  2. Frances m Wilbur Lippincott 1 January 6 1735.[5]
  3. Penelope m John Sutphen Jr[6]

Research Notes

Nathan Stout identified this John Stout as the son of John Stout, the eldest son of Richard and Penelope Stout who made his living by 'sailing the seas'. He names one child, Penelope, her family and suggests he had numerous children. [9]

However, Stillwell made the argument that by his occupation and where he lived that John Stout was the son of Richard Stout, son of Richard and Penelope, and identifies one child named Penelope who married John Sutphen Jr as does Nathan Stout. [10] Herald Franklin Stout agrees with Stillwell.[11]

A question regarding whether Frances as the descendant of Richard and Eve Stout's son or Richard and Frances Stout's son. Two Frances: one married Job Throckmorton ond one married Wilbur Lippincott. [12]
