Biography

Samuel Stout was an Arkansan.

Samuel Claude "Sam" Stout was born on 24 Jun 1886 in the Whitehouse community of Washington County, Arkansas. He was the son of Robert Stout and Sarah Carter.[1]

He married Margaret M. Whyte on 21 February 1907 in Washington County, Arkansas. He was 20 years old.[2][3]Their children were:

  1. Iva Lee Stout (1907–1968) .
  2. Arthur Owen Stout (1909–1986) .[4]
  3. Martha
  4. Lonnie Arlis Stout (1912–1955) .
  5. Ocie

Sam passed away in Fayetteville, Arkansas on 17 Feb 1974 and was buried in the Whitehouse Cemetery, Arnett, Arkansas.[8][9]
