DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
Stout-1803 and Stout-1234 appear to represent the same person because: Note that parents, children, siblings, and dates (except death date) are identical. The 1899 date seems to be a copy/paste-type error from her mother's date of death. The 1906 death date is recorded in Elizabeth's pension application file and in the family Bible of Elizabeth's father, Jonathan Stout. Unfortunately, the scans of that Bible page are no longer available at http://www.ksthompson.com/2011/03/14/amanuensis-monday-jonathan-stout-bible/ (nor are they archived by the Wayback Machine). (I do have saved copies of the files, however.)
