Biography
Reuben Stout, son of Benijah and Elizabeth Hyde, was born 1766 in Hunterdon, New Jersey and died April 7 1836 in Colerain township, Hamilton County, Ohio. He married Abia Laboyteaux, daughter of Peter Laboteaux, in Hunterdon, New Jersey. [1] He served in the township as a Fence Viewer, Overseer of the Poor, Supervisor of Highways and as a trustee.
Their children were:
1. Elisha b 1789 m Phoebe Brown, daughter of Esquire Ephraim Brown
2. John Hyde d before 1836 m Amanda Pine and moved to Kansas City, MO.
