Robert Stout was born 22 Aug 1799, in Kentucky. [1]
In the 1821 tax list of Shelby County, Kentucky, Peter Stout (Sr) is shown with 111 acres and two males over 21 in his household.[2] In the 1822 list, Peter has only one male over 21 (himself), and Robert Stout has appeared in the list for the first time.https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS3J-D7YT-V

A Divsion of land for the heirs of Robert Stout was commissioned on 8 Mar 1847 in Shelby County, Kentucky. The land was divided into six lots and delivered to six children:

- Maria Stout (later wife of Thomas French)

- Cinderella Stout
