Biography

Rachel Stout, daughter of John and Catherine Stout, born after November 9 1730 the date her parents married.[1] She was a granddaughter of Col Joseph and Ruth Brinson Stout. She married Nehemiah Stout, son of David and Anne Merrill Stout and moved to Maysville, Kentucky.[2]

She was the mother of:

  • 1. Wilkes
  • 2. Annie m Andrew Anderson
  • 3. Rebecca m Lloyd Holmes
  • 4. Amy m David Stout, son of Jonathan and Rachel Burroughs Stout, his first wife
  • 5. Rachel m David Stout, son of Jonathan and Rachel Burroughs Stout, widower of Amy, her sister, as his second wife.[3][4]
