Biography

Locke Cemetery, Benton, Oregon, United States

In 1845 John Douglas Lewis and his wife Elizabeth Stout Lewis crossed the Oregon Trail with their six children and several grandchildren. One of the granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Lewis, married a Daniel Miller Boone.

Jeremiah V. Lewis, son of John and Elizabeth, crossed with his wife Narcissa Corbin Lewis. After she died he married Catherine Blakely; she was the daughter of my gr gr grandfather Captain James Blakely.

Now; guess who Daniel Miller Boone is related to?

Another site says her birthdate was November 8, 1786 (see sources**) I find no record where Ann, Sarah or Elizabeth as listed on this site as her children are actually her children**

Stout-2371 and Stout-2657 appear to represent the same person because: It appears these are the same person. Also please note there are errors in the line for the siblings also. I have proposed 3 unmerged matches at this time for Ruth, Benjamin and Rebecca Stout as they are all the children of Elijah but in the system under different mothers (Mary or Anne I believe). So more research needs to be done to verify which wife had which child before we proceed up the line. I shall work on this in my spare time unless someone else does it first. Thank you Tammy Van
