Hudson-Mohawk Genealogical and Family Memoirs has been known to have errors and mistakes. It is not trusted as a reputable source.
It states that John Stout married to Permelia Drake was the son of Jonathon Stout and Anne Bollen. I have not found any other source to back this claim. I believe it is incorrect. Other sources site his father as James Stout and Catherine Simpson, but that John Stout Stout-1881 married Rachel Merrill.Merrill-1739 [7]
No mention of a Permilia Drake in The History of the Stout Family by Nathan Stout. No Mention in Pioneers of Old Hopewell either.
See John Houghton StoutStout-345. Tthis is the correct data. See Permelia Drake StoutDrake-1081 This is the correct data. See Abraham Stout Stout-278 This the correct data.
I understand that we should not copy and paste in Wikitree. I hope we can allow it with this profile. It helps to have the source quoted for reference.

Since the Hudson-Mohawk Genealogical an Family Memoirs has been proven to have errors/discrepencies why keep this profile instead of correcting/validating info and merge 345 to 277 and have only one profile for the person. This one will create havoc if it is the only one a person sees. Sharon
