Joseph Stout, son of David and Rebecca Ashton Stout, born 1698[1] and died before June 1 1770 the date his will was proved and names his children.[2]He married (1) Mary Ashland and after her death (2) Martha Reeder.[3]
After their father died, four of the sons emigrated west:
Abner first to Western (West) Virginia then to Washington County, Pennsylvania, Job and Joseph to Western (West) Virginia.
Benjamin to Pennsylvania.[10]
