Bertha was born in Franklin, Georgia March 28, 1892 She passed away in Lavonia, Ga March 28, 1982. Dying just after her 90th Birthday Information researched by Deborah Sargent, NOTE~I met this lady when her grandson William Jerry moved the family back to S.C. just afew years before her death.

She was one of 8 children and had 7 of her own.

1900 Census shows her at age 8, living with family in Gumlog, Franklin, Georgia LINES 22-29 (NOTE last name spelled Stooall)

1910 Census show her at age 18, living in the parent's home with siblings and her mother's mother. LINES 57-63 NOTE she was married just months after this Census
