From Ranney, Mary Stowe (daughter of Thomas Stowe and Bethia Stocking) b. Aug 8, 1688; married and was a widow in 1730. It says she married but doesn't say to whom. This would be inconsistent with her death in 1713. Ideas?

The mother of Nathaniel Coit Sr. was Mary Stevens, per "The Coit family; or the descendants of John Coit, : who appears among the settlers of Salem, Massachusetts" pg. 38. There is some confusion in sources between Mary Stowe and Mary Stevens.
